We have over 15 years of experience as psychological therapists and met in 2010 while working in the same NHS service. We quickly formed a strong connection and it’s been our shared goal to provide therapy in a way that truly reflects our values. We believe in creating a warm, welcoming, and collaborative space where you can work toward your personal goals and become your authentic and healthy self.
Hello! I’m Dakshina, a BABCP Accredited CBT Therapist and Supervisor, EMDR Therapist, and Couples Therapist.
As a therapist, I consider it a privilege to be allowed into someone else’s experience. The trust that clients place in me is something I hold in the highest regard. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with individuals and couples from all walks of life, across various cultures and work settings. My approach is rooted in empathy, compassion, active listening with a strong belief in the power of personal growth. I specialise in helping people navigate through life’s challenges by creating a safe, non-judgmental space. I draw on evidence-based therapeutic techniques while tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each person I work with.
In addition to working directly with clients, I also offer clinical supervision to support fellow therapists in their practice. Having contributed to the development of mental health services in the UK, I am passionate about creating accessible, effective support for those in need. I look forward to supporting you through your journey.
