About Us

Hello and welcome to Healthy Mind Therapy. We are Teresa and Dakshina, and we’ve created this space to provide you with a compassionate and supportive environment where you can access the care you need to transform your life.


We have over 15 years of experience as psychological therapists and met  in 2010 while working in the same NHS service. We quickly formed a strong connection  and it’s been our shared goal to provide therapy in a way that truly reflects our values. We believe in creating a warm, welcoming, and collaborative space where you can work toward your personal goals and become your authentic and healthy self.

Hello! I’m Dakshina, a BABCP Accredited Senior Consultant CBT Psychotherapist and Supervisor, EMDR Clinician, and Couples Therapist.

Life’s challenges like anxiety, stress, low mood, and relationship struggles can impact your sleep, confidence, and connection with others. I’m passionate about helping people who would like to feel better but aren’t sure where to start. Whether you’re managing panic attacks, healing from past trauma, navigating a breakup, or just feeling lost, therapy can help you make sense of it all — and find a way forward.

I offer remote therapy from the comfort of your home, using an integrative approach based on proven methods like CBT, EMDR etc. Each session is personalised to support your unique journey and goals at your own pace. I also support couples facing conflict, communication issues, or emotional distance, offering a safe space to reconnect and rebuild.
