Depression and Low Mood

Mood and Feelings

  • I feel sad, low, or down most of the time
  • I’ve lost interest or enjoyment in things I usually like
  • I feel hopeless or helpless about the future
  • I feel guilty, worthless, or like a burden
  • I’m more irritable or frustrated than usual

  

Thinking and Concentration

  • I find it hard to concentrate or make decisions
  • My thoughts feel slower, or my mind feels foggy 
  • I often have negative thoughts about myself 
  • I've had thoughts about not wanting to be here or ending my life (If yes, please seek help immediately)


Physical Symptoms

  • I feel tired most of the time, even after rest
  • My sleep has changed (too much, too little, or poor quality)
  • My appetite has changed (eating more or less than usual)
  • I have unexplained aches or pains


Daily Functioning


  • I’m finding it hard to keep up with work, school, or daily tasks
  • I’m withdrawing from friends or family
  • I avoid activities or places I used to enjoy
